Trenton Forging produces over 400 different parts and makes its forgings by using multiple cavity dies with up to twelve impressions. Using only electric induction heat, parts are forged in both carbon and alloy steel and can range in weight from just ounces to 20 pounds.

As a parts provider to OEMs and aftermarket customers, the automotive industry makes up a large portion of Trenton Forging's clientele. In keeping with company philosophy of remaining competitive through change, Trenton Forging has expanded its market by producing parts for a wide range of industries. Recent production includes new parts for truck trailers, recreational vehicles, building construction as well as railroad hardware components, machine tool components and hand tools.

"There's no limit to the types of parts that can be made," says David Moxlow. "Diversification and variety will enable Trenton Forging to provide consistent long term service to all customers - old and new."

Customers are encouraged to forward prints and/or CAD models of parts needed to Trenton Forging for review. Plastic models of new or conceptual parts can be produced for evaluation before product plans are finalized. Not only does this service save customers time and money, it helps them avoid costly mistakes.
